To name the Temporal Bone Lab within the MCG Department of Otolaryngology to be identified as the Dr. James T. Lowe Jr. Temporal Bone Lab. The donor, James Bush, M.D., is a 1969 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and he is naming the lab in memory of his late MCG classmate and roommate, Dr. James T. Lowe Jr., who was tragically killed in an airplane crash in September 1983. The name to remain in effect as long as the laboratory remains in its current location. Donate Now >

MCGF/100 Black Men Community for COVID-19

The MCG Foundation is partnering with The 100 Black Men of Augusta, Inc. to conduct a community engagement program entitled the “Community Tour for COVID-19” to: 1) provide free COVID-19 diagnostic testing, 2) disseminate COVID-19 health information through health pamphlets (guidelines and vaccine information), 3) increase healthy and preventive health behaviors by supplying PPE (facemasks and hand sanitizer), and 4) conduct a virtual town community town hall event on COVID-19 vaccine myths and facts with constituents of the underserved communities in Augusta, GA.
